Values and Ethical Commitment
The policy of Coding, consistent with the vision, mission, value system and ethical commitment, is based on the principles of correctness, professionalism, transparency and compliance with the rules applicable to the Company’s processes in order to guarantee and provide its services according to the best quality standards, aiming at meeting the needs and expectations of stakeholders. The Coding Policy identifies corporate quality, environmental protection, worker safety, and social responsibility as primary objectives.
In this context fits the commitment of Coding, in the research and implementation of virtuous models of circular economy, To pursue its vision, Coding is equipped with an Integrated Management System and an Organizational Model of management and control pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/01, as strategic tools to safeguard compliance with the principles and the Ethical Commitment and ensure the compliance of its services, promoting the sustainable development of the territory.
The Integrated Management System (implemented according to the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SA 8000) is based on rules and practices established and agreed with the entire Organization, formalized in appropriate documents and procedures that guide the action of Coding. Through the application of the Integrated Management System and the Organizational Model, Coding is committed to:
- promote a business culture that, by ensuring compliance with the laws and rules applicable to the processes of the Company, supports environmental protection, the prevention of corruption, the health and safety of workers and is socially responsible;
- ensuring high standards of quality and innovation in the works and projects carried out, environmental protection and energy efficiency, in line with the best available techniques and technologies;
- ensuring adequate procedural, management and organisational tools;
- to pursue the optimization of business processes and the use of resources, in order to achieve the highest level of effectiveness and efficiency, respecting the health and safety of workers and with the utmost attention to the environment and social responsibility;
- Design, and follow the Works Department to support the territory, promoting sustainable development and the evolution of the same, in compliance with the health and safety requirements of workers environmental protection, socially responsible;
- ensure safe and healthy working conditions to prevent injuries, accidents, accidents and occupational diseases;
- to make workers aware of the reporting of unsafe behaviour and of no accidents;
mitigate risks to the health and safety of personnel through the development and implementation of appropriate training and people empowerment programmes with the aim of ensuring the active participation of workers, the adoption of appropriate technical organisational measures to ensure that all workers are trained, informed and made aware of the risks present in the company and the activities within their competence, as well as promoters of a culture of health and safety in the company; - safeguarding natural resources and their sustainable use, preventing pollution and pursuing improvements in energy efficiency, reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions;
- select suppliers, monitoring their performance, to promote their development and qualitative growth in accordance with this policy;
- define and review the improvement objectives and programmes, carry out audits to assess the performance of the Management System, and periodically review the policy;
- pursue the continuous improvement of the services offered, through operational control, management of energy use and consumption factors, the design of new plants, equipment, systems and processes, which can have a significant impact on them;
- support the purchase of energy efficient products and services by complying with applicable legislative requirements;
- promote a corporate culture based on integrity, transparency and compliance through the introduction of appropriate measures to monitor and prevent risks related to sensitive work processes;
- communicate within and outside the company policy, objectives, programmes and performance in terms of quality, environment, security, preventing corruption and paying the utmost attention to social responsibility;
- not to use, encourage or support the use of child labour or of young workers still in compulsory education;
- not use, or support, the use of forced or forced labour, including prison work, except for reasons of social integration of disadvantaged persons;
- ensure a safe and healthy working environment and take effective measures to ensure the health and safety of workers;
- fully respect the right of workers to train, participate in, and organize unions of their choice and to bargain collectively;
- not to resort to or support any form of discrimination against its own workers, candidates and suppliers and associated companies in any form, on grounds of race, national origin, caste, birth, religion, sexual orientation, marital status, political opinions or any other condition that may give rise to discrimination;
- treat all staff with dignity and respect without using or tolerating corporal punishment, physical or mental coercion, verbal abuse of staff;
- comply with applicable laws and collective bargaining on working time, overtime, weekly rest and public holidays;
- respect the right of workers to a decent wage and pay in accordance with the provisions of the CCNL of category;
- define a social policy to inform staff of their choice to comply with the SA8000:2014 standard, maintain an SA8000 Social Responsibility Management System aimed at continuous improvement, compliance with SA8000 requirements and mandatory requirements, as well as already existing for Quality System Management (ISO 9001:2015), Environment (ISO14001:2015). Anti Corruption (Uni Iso 37001:2016) and Security (Uni En Iso 45001:2018) and consistent with the Code of Ethics and the Code of Conduct established by Coding and which are an integral part of the Social Responsibility Policy;
- ensure the independence of the Supervisory Body through an adequate separation of responsibility and reporting between supervisory activity and other activities, as well as the confidential management of information obtained or produced during the activities carried out.
