We are proud to be part, together with RFI, of the revolution taking place in Italian railway stations. It’s a task that requires the efforts and passion of many individuals but is already yielding significant results with numerous construction sites underway throughout the national territory.

“By 2024, 350 stations will be fully accessible. This achievable goal is made possible by our Integrated Stations Plan, which envisions the redevelopment of over 600 stations with a total investment of 5.4 billion euros by 2032. The project aims to eliminate every barrier, making stations more inclusive, accessible, and intermodal.

“Originating in the nineteenth century as simple junction and power supply points for the railway network, today stations play a new role. They are true hubs, designed in harmony with cities and territories, multifunctional spaces capable of providing services to citizens and tourists, and becoming attractive poles for sustainable mobility and widespread social interaction.”
