The architectural intervention strategy for Teramo Station is to restore continuity to the city of both the fabric and the urban space, using the historic Travelers' Building, the new railway station and the extensive external areas as a catalyst for this regeneration. In a terminal station like that of Teramo, one of the main objectives is to enhance the use of the train, maintaining the Node-Pole duality. In addition to the exchange with the train, the station becomes a distribution center for urban mobility means towards the city: buses, sharing, cycling and parking.
