The project provides for the rearrangement of the external areas and to enhance the external pedestrian areas with the consequent arrangement of the paving and street furniture, restoring the proper decorum and use to the station forecourt and the Travellers' Building. In particular, the design of the forecourt, while working in continuity with the existing one, substantially changes both its image and use.
